| Please visit www.soundspectrum.com to learn more about the standard versoin of WhiteCap and all of the options available for scripting WhiteCap.
WhiteCap
has scripting services that allow you to repeat WhiteCap performances
and allow you to synchronize WhiteCap events to a timeline or
"timecode". A few short examples scripts are included to demonstrate
scripting, and you can start one by pressing CTRL and the '2'
key. If you find the folder named "Scripts" and open the files
there, you can follow along with what you're seeing when you
run the script in WhiteCap. Studying the boot file and the half-dozen
scripts that come with WhiteCap will teach you how to create
your own scripts.
There are 3 ways a script can start:
- The name a script is "CTRL X" and CTRL+X is pressed
in WhiteCap.
- A script is called by name by another script or event
(using the Run() function, such as in the CTRL+2 example
script, or how the Boot file binds the Help script to
SHIFT+H).
- The name of a script matches the name of a new audio
track.
Note: the scipting documentation is under contruction
and will evolve as the new WhiteCap/G-Force engine develops.
It's recommended you study the the boot.txt file and the example
scipt files to get a basic understanding of scipting.
